There's many soondubu (tofu soup) places in fort lee and this ranks #3 for me! BCD over Chodang over SKD The soondubu here lacks flavor here but also def on the spicier side compared to the others (medium level hot is prob hot at BCD) to give reference Love all the generous sides here tho!!

Very homey Korean restaurant. They get pretty busy on the weekends but the servers are attentive. The seafood pancake was a little over fried.. the spicy beef noodle soup was good though. Limited menu.

So Kong Dong is one of my favorite Korean restaurants. It's homey, comforting, and the prices are extremely fair for both the quantity and quality. I would highly recommend the squid dolsot (a hot stone bibimbap, where the stone bowl sizzles and browns the rice on the bottom)! This dish was only ~$20, which I thought was fair for the value and absolutely delicious. They don't skimp on the squid either, which can be a sticking point sometimes at other restaurants. Overall, amazing experience. Down to earth, excellent quality, and an all around great place. Don't skip on So Kong Dong the next time you're in Fort Lee!

A delicious spot for korean soft tofu stew (soondubu jjigae) in Fort Lee! Love the building and vibe that replicates a traditional Korean home and the menu is full of authentic Korean dishes. Side dishes were plentiful and fresh, and the tofu stew was delicious and full of flavor. Service was fast and everyone was friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend!

My friends and I decided to come here for dinner - the place itself is pretty spacious with plenty of parking in the front of the restaurant. We got seated immediately; this is the place to be if you are in the mood for tofu sofu or other korean soup dishes since that was mainly their menu. I will have to say - they have some of the best taking side dishes that I've had - plenty of fish cake, cumcumbers, kimchi - and they gave a significant amount and they were all so tasty. I decided to get the non-spicy tofu ramen soup which was a big portion and pretty good (it was the perfect dish for a cold day outside). The flavors were good, tofu was soft and the ramen was not soggy in the dish - I did wish we had an option to add an egg or something which I think would have made it better. Two of my friends got bibimbop which smelled absolutely delicious and their portion size was also very large. Overall - recommend coming here for dinner especially on a cold day.

Looking specifically to eat bibimbop & tofu soup I did my search on yelp and found this place. The reviews & photos looked good and decided to give them a try. Arriving just at 5pm there were a few customers and the place was low key. First I love the fact that they have parking right in front of the restaurant do if you drive one less thing to worry. Immediately the waited day us down and brought us barley tea and menus. The place is humble & comfortable, feel a little bit like dining tables at old homes. A few minutes later, she came by again with banchan and quickly took our order. We decided to get the seafood pancake, bibimbop in clay pot and seafood tofu soup. The waiting was fair and our food quickly came. The bibimbop was hot. Once it came, I added the gochachung sauce and stir up the rice. The rice was crispy around the edges and the rice stayed hot through dinner. It was well done! The seafood pancake was good size. I was a little disappointed that they used mock crabmeat, but it had squid and other seafood and the pancake was crispy with a nice chew. The soft tofu soup is their specialty. The tofu was soft with a fair amount of seafood. It came with a bowl of rice and my bro loved it. We both agreed that this was a great meal and would definitely come back!

Satisfying tofu soup and side dishes. Service was very fast and attentive for lunch. I got the mild seafood tofu soup which came with plenty of shrimp and clams. Would recommend.

Great korean place in fort lee with home-y vibes. Best to come for their stews, but even their noodle dishes were surprisingly good. Nothing I could find was off, even the service was on point and friendly. Top choice if you're in the area!
